  • Kate is an investor and operator in several real estate ventures across Western Canada. She is also a career private equity investor in sustainability-led businesses.

    Kate has served as Director on a number of both for-profit and nonprofit Boards in Canada and the U.S. An ocean and mountain lover, she spends most of her personal time on the sea, in the woods or on the slopes with her family. She and Chris make an annual pilgrimage to the Black Rock desert to immerse themselves in art, community and funky beats.

  • Chris’ career has been focused on the development and construction of affordable housing, sustainable buildings and creating multi-stakeholder construction partnerships on the West Coast. Through his company, RISE Construction Network, Chris also consults for other development and construction companies in Western Canada including First Nations communities.

    Chris currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Sunshine Coast Affordable Housing Society, and formerly served as Board Member of the Bloom Group on the DTES in Vancouver then focused on new affordable housing developments as well as a former Board Member for Amity House.

    Chris loves to unwind by fishing, skiing, cheering on the 49ers or coaching his son Jackson’s football team.
